Heavy rains have destroyed a number of roads and bridges in Moroto among other districts in Karamoja sub region since the beginning of this month. The rain waters have created deep potholes at some sections of the roads especially in Soroti-Moroto road [...] the deepest pothole is at Alerekeleke [...] Nakapiripirit road is also equally impassable. Many passengers in Kampala and other districts going to Karamoja are stranded on the roadsides because bus owners and transporters don’t allow their vehicles to operate along impassable roads of Karamoja ... mehr
