The headquarters of the 10th Urban Security in Constantine saw in the night from Thursday to Friday a state of general alert after reports about the existence of bombs in bags and packages.
Officers of permanence at the headquarters of that urban security have fled outside in the street, not because of bombs but because of a large snake in the building. This has caused fear and panic among the police officers who have their salvation thanks to the intervention of the civil protection whose elements caught the reptile. It turned out in the end that the so-called giant snake did not exceed 70 cm.
A similar case has already been reported, also in Constantine, where a case of scorpion bite was recorded in the neighbourhood of ‘Boussouf’, although scorpions are usually found only in places abandoned and especially in the desert.
The question of the presence of this snake at the headquarters of the 10th urban security located in the center of Constantine is still raised.
