1ST EGYPT-TURKEY NAVIGATION LINE TO BE LAUNCHED IN NOVEMBER

CAIRO - The first regular navigation line betwen Egyptian and Turkish ports would be operational in November, said Egyptian Trade and Industry Minister Rashid Mohamed Rashid today. The move is meant to facilitate and encourage trade between the two countries, he said while opening a symposium organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) here. The line will reduce travel duration to five days only, which would raise the volume of trade exchange between the countries by 15%, and improve the competitiveness of Egyptian exports in Turkish and Russian markets ... mehr
