Hallo zusammen,

ich würde gerne wissen, ob die regulären Nachtzüge (nicht die supersleeper) von Cairo nach Luxor/Assuan auch Schlafabteile haben? Hat da jemand von euch Erfahrung mit?

Cairo to Aswan costs LE 75 (£7 or $12) one-way 1st class, or a bit more in the Nefertiti class. Take a fleece or jumper - the air-con can be quite powerful..! The photos below show a Nefertiti class air-con 6-seat compartment on the overnight seats train Cairo-Luxor-Aswan. They are converted from a sleeping-car with the berths removed and two compartments knocked into one."

Hallo Judi,

es gibt tatsächlich außer dem Supersleeper keine Nachtzüge mit Schlafabteilen, obwohl der Nefertiti als Zug mit ausziehbaren Sitzen und damit zum Schlafen angepriesen wird. Alle Sitze waren bei uns blockiert, das Abteil total überfüllt. Wesentlich besser verbringt man die Nacht in den 1. Klasse- Abteilen oder eben im Supersleeper, wobei man bei allen Zügen die Toiletten oder Waschmöglichkeiten vergessen kann.
